According to MSCI estimates, if Kuwait is upgraded to Emerging Markets in 2020, the proportion of Vietnamese stocks in the MSCI Frontier Markets Index will be up to 25.2%.

With the MSCI Frontier Markets 100 Index, the proportion of Vietnam shares on August 30 was only 14.42%, behind the Kuwait market with a proportion of 25.16%. Compared to the end of July, the proportion of Vietnamese stocks in this index basket has decreased by 0.47% (the proportion of 31/7 was 14.89%).

Among the funds using the MSCI Frontier Markets 100 Index benchmark, the most notable is the iShare MSCI Frontier 100 ETF with a portfolio size of $ 497 million, of which the value of Vietnam's stocks is about USD 71.6 million (VND 1,665 billion). copper).
